You may have hearing about Dubai and have become increasingly interested in making a switch to Dubai. However, there are things you may need to know about the city to make your transition a smooth one.
First of all, Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirate located in the heart of the Middle East. Dubai has in the last few decades taken some steps to become one of the best cities in the world to live and work in. However, below are things you should consider before applying for jobs in Dubai
Dubai Visa: Your employer is expected to issue a visa if you are not a UAE national. The reality is that without a work permit you cannot take up any job in Dubai and it is not expected that you risk it. The good news is that Dubai is open to foreigners and your employer will not have any issue giving you a permit.
Dubai Climate: Make no mistake; Dubai climate is hot most of the time. It has a subtropical dry climate and there is just little rainfall. You are expected to take enough water if in Dubai. Also, there are air conditioners in most places so no need to worry.
Dubai Lifestyle: The city can be very expensive and people are advised to live within their means. Do not follow others to live extravagant lifestyles. In addition, note that Dubai is a Muslim country and you are expected to respect the local traditions.
