UAE National Day Signifies How United These Federations Have Become
- December 2, 2017
The United Arab Emirates, UAE as it is fondly called is a country with a lot of history. First it is that coming together of six emirates which later became seven in 1971 to unify and form a new country that is modern and prosperous. The journey of the UAE started with the consensus of the different emirates by their rulers. The emirates include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm al-Quwain in the year 1971 precisely on the 2nd of December. This is the reason why the national day of the beautiful country of UAE is usually celebrated on the 2nd of December every year all over the United Arab Emirates. Note that the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah was the last to join the UAE in February of 1972 and since then they have all been a single entity.
The UAE is a modern country with a prosperous economy headed by the federation first president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and this reflected in their union day celebration which boasts of activities like car rallies and fireworks to mark the event. In the UAE, there are also translation services in Dubai for people in need of professional translation in marketing, legal, medical, financial etc…
The UAE have become very united and the colorful national day confirms that fact. However, it is important to note that the national day does not in any way relate to the independence day that commemorates the British withdrawal from the emirates in the year 1968.
